Our investment approach is based on equity market cycles derived by global macro trends. We use internally developed macro models to determine where the economy and financial markets are positioned within the cycle.

Once our models establish where we are in the cycle, individual equity positions are selected through bottom-up fundamental analysis and entered during the later stages of market downturns that occur at the end of the cycle. Positions are held and exited as our models indicate that the current business cycle is approaching its peak. An overview of these models is available on the Macro Models page.
